Summary

After firmware 5.10 on iXM there is a new way to get diagnostic files.

This is how you enabled diagnostic logging on the iXM-100 / iXM-RS150F

(The old method is described in https://support.phaseone.com/knowledgebase/article/KA-01379/en-us)

In-Depth

You can use Capture One or InFlight to trigger the action of dumping all internally recorded logs to the local file storage:

1) First, ensure that you have inserted a CFX card in the camera.
2) Open Capture One, InSight, or InFlight, and connect to the camera via USB or the network.
3) If using Capture One navigate to the “Diagnostics" section in the list of “Camera Settings”
4) Choose “Yes” on the dropdown for the “Diagnostics Log Dump Start” option:

5) You will see the value of “Diagnostics Log Dump Status” change while the camera writes all logs to the storage card.
6) When “Done” is displayed, you can remove the storage card and mount it in your host PC.

7) Locate the “*.bin” file on it and send it to Phase One Support with email to support [AT] phaseone.com and we will troubleshoot with you.
8) (You will not be able to look at the content of the log file.)
