Summary
You might need to run a full motor calibration of the gimbal if the gimbal is not sitting straight, drifting or giving erratic behavior. This can be done in Gtune.
In-Depth
If your gimbal does not sit straight or is drifting you might have to perform a full gimbal motor calibration.
For this you will need:
- Gtune for your PC
- Gremsy Connection Cable
- Allen key to remove HDMI box.
Firstly if your camera boots and looks like to image below you might need to recalibrate.
Firstly disconnect the HDMI box and plug in the Gremsy Connection Cable.
With the UAV powered on Open Gtune and the gimbal should be automatically detected.
In the settings tab click Motor
Then in this menu select Calib Motor
Be aware before you do this the gimbal will move a lot so ensure you have slack in the cable and the gimbal can move freely.
If this fails, you can do this without the camera attached to the gimbal or run multiple times if the cables get in the way the first time
