Summary:

Combine RGB and NIR IIQs into a single color infrared TIFF or JPG using iX Capture processing. 

 

In-Depth:

1. Open iX Capture and go to the Processes tab. Press the orange + to create a new 'Recipe'.

 

2a. Name the recipe.

2b. Change prefixes if you wish the export to have a different name than the original IIQ.

2c. Choose location to save images to.

2d. Watch folders- iX Capture will automatically start processing images when they are placed into this folder. 

 

3a. Select system type CIR from the dropdown.

3b. Single head for non-280 systems

3c. Output file type can be either TIFF or JPEG. 

 

4. Select 3 Band CIR first, then distortion corrected RGB and NIR. 

 

5a. Check light falloff or haze correction if preferable.

5b. Choose Color Output profile (recommend Adobe RGB). 

5c. Choose bit size, tile size, or compression needed. 

 

6. Import calibration files for each camera using the three dots. AUS.txt files will work fine.

 

7. On the lower left, choose "Select Images" to manually select each image, use "Select Directory" to select an entire folder. 

 

8.  Click the "start processing" button on the lower right to begin processing.

 

9. Clicking on the Processing tab will show a progress bar. You can check the process of each individual image by clicking the +/- button on the recipe name. Clicking on the export filename under Job Details will open the image in File Explorer.
